Brett Bunnell counsels a wide variety of companies for general business representation including business transactional and business litigation matters.
Brett leads our Blockchain and Digital Currency Practice Group, and Brett’s practice focuses on advising start-up companies (technology and emerging growth) through all stages of scaling and development, including ICO's (initial coin offerings)/STO’s (security token offerings) and securities compliance, formation, stock option plans, equity compensation, seed funding, venture capital, exit transactions, privacy and data compliance (GDPR), corporate structuring, asset protection (real estate) and corporate clean-up. Brett also drafts and reviews business and commercial contracts, including but not limited to: SaaS agreements, end user license agreements, license agreements, operating agreements, buy-sell agreements, seed financing agreements, offer letters, consulting agreements, executive employment agreements, intellectual property-related agreements, and terms and conditions and privacy policies for technology and blockchain-based companies.
Brett represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of corporate/business disputes, as well as litigation involving breach of contract claims, breach of fiduciary duty, theft of trade secrets, trademark issues, and business torts.
Prior to joining Structure Law Group, LLP, Brett was the co-founder and CEO of a tech start-up company.
In his spare time, Brett enjoys working out, playing basketball, learning, traveling, and dominating fantasy football.
