Caitlin Tassos is a full-service business attorney who is dedicated to helping clients achieve the best possible outcomes to complex issues. Her practice broadly encompasses all aspects of complex business litigation and transactional matters. She handles every facet of a dispute from start to finish, and is pragmatic, results-driven, and client-focused.
In her litigation practice, Caitlin represents corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of matters in federal and state courts and private arbitration. She handles cases involving complex business and corporate disputes in a broad range of industries, including technology, real estate, construction, manufacturing, blockchain and cryptocurrency, hospitality, financial services, entertainment, cannabis, and food and beverage. In addition to her trial and appellate work, Caitlin handles pre-lawsuit advisement, discovery, law and motion practice, settlement negotiations, mediation, and post-judgment enforcement and defense.
Caitlin brings the same practical approach to her transactional practice, which includes business formation, corporate governance, corporate financing, buy-sell agreements, commercial contracts, intellectual property agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and general business counseling.
Caitlin is a dual alumna of UCLA, having earned her B.A. in English from the university and her J.D. from UCLA School of Law. While attending UCLA, she received recognition on the Dean’s Honors List, and was an active member of Pi Beta Phi and volunteer organizations. While in law school, Caitlin was active in Moot Court and served as the Executive Chair of the Food Law Society. In addition, she had a fellowship with the UCLA Resnick Program for Food Law and Policy.
During her free time, Caitlin enjoys hiking and snowboarding, and she is also a fitness instructor. She also loves to travel, with her favorite destination being Italy (closely followed by Costa Rica). When not at the office, she can easily be found at a local metal concert or at her favorite bar.
