Olivia Finlayson is a litigation attorney at Structure Law Group, LLP, where she supports the firm's growing practice in complex business and commercial litigation. Her work spans a broad range of civil litigation matters, including contract disputes, employment claims, and intellectual property issues. Olivia contributes to all phases of litigation, from legal research and drafting pleadings to motion practice, discovery strategy, and trial preparation. She brings a strong foundation in litigation, attention to detail, and a practical approach to client service.

Prior to joining Structure Law Group, Olivia represented plaintiffs in complex wage and hour class actions at an employment litigation firm, where she advocated on behalf of workers in matters involving unpaid wages, meal and rest break violations, misclassification of employees, and other systemic labor code violations. During law school, Olivia gained diverse legal experience through positions at a mass tort litigation firm, an intellectual property litigation boutique, and the in-house legal department of a record label, where she focused on contract review and drafting.

Olivia earned her Juris Doctor from LMU Loyola Law School, where she served as Chief Articles and Symposia Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. Her article analyzing antitrust law and labor protections in the music industry-focused on the proposed antitrust exemption in the Protect Working Musicians Act-was published in Volume 44.3 and awarded Best Student Article, Readers' Choice by Concurrences. Her academic work reflects a broader interest in employment and labor law, especially as it intersects with creative and emerging industries.

Olivia received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, with minors in Sociology and Forensic Science, from the University of Toronto. During her undergraduate studies, Olivia completed a semester abroad in Sydney, Australia, enriching her global perspective.

In her free time, Olivia enjoys going to concerts, trying new restaurants, volunteering with rescue dogs, and reading. She has lived in England, Canada, Australia, and the US, and enjoys travelling.
