We focus on deal-making and adding value for our clients.  SLG’s attorneys have extensive experience in forming LLCs and partnerships to hold title to real property, as well as structuring joint ventures and tenancies in common.  We work with real estate purchasers and sellers to determine the feasibility of and to structure Section 1031 tax deferred exchanges.  We also work with our clients’ other advisors such as brokers, property managers, financial planners, accountants and qualified intermediaries to assist our clients in their investment strategies.  In addition to extensive legal experience, our attorneys have personal experience in real estate investment, including commercial real estate, office properties, and multi-family residential apartments and condominiums.  We pride ourselves on providing practical, real world legal advice to our real estate clients in a cost-effective and strategic manner.
